Some of these behavioral signs can show up at other stressful times in a childs life. Any one sign doesnt mean the child was abused, but several of them mean that you should begin asking questions. This site also offers warning signs to watch out for when adults are with children. Reporting Abuse To report child abuse in Pennsylvania, call Childline at: 1-800-932-0313 If you live in, or the abuse took place in, Philadelphia, when DHS contacts you, ask for the services of the Philadelphia Childrens Alliance to assure a caring and coordinated response. If a child is in immediate danger, or you dont know the hotline number in your state, call 911.
