In Memory of Michael Rosen

***

Michael Rosen, who passed away on April 4, 2024, was a prolific writer, passionate advocate, and philanthropic leader. His extensive community service included 8 years on the board for Philadelphia Children’s Alliance. Michael's passing was a significant loss for not only our PCA family, but our entire city.

Max Frater, Michael’s nephew, has generously presented us with a matching challenge in his memory.

Every pledge made in Michael’s honor will be doubled
(up to $10,000) until 12/31/2025.

That means you can help twice as many victims and have double the
life-changing impact for survivors of child sexual abuse.

A note from Lisa Rosen, Michael's beloved wife:

All,

Thank you for considering a gift in Michael's honor. The work that Philadelphia Children's Alliance does was very close to Michael's heart.

Michael understood the value of PCA's on-site clinic, child-friendly forensic interviews, and incredibly necessary mental health services. He was committed to doing what he could to help victims of child sex abuse find healing and peace -- and he knew that PCA was a critical and vital service for Philadelphia's families.

Our nephew, Max Frater, loved Michael deeply and generously offered to donate $10,000 as a Challenge Match in Michael's memory, doubling the impact of gifts until the end of this year. We launched this fund at PCA's 2025 Bear Affair on May 1, and I can't wait to see how it will grow from there.

I hope Max's gift inspires you to give. Michael would have been humbled and honored to know the difference we will make together.

Thank you,

Lisa
