The Impact of
The Bear Affair

The work of Philadelphia Children's Alliance is truly incredible.  Our organization pursues justice for children who have been sexually abused and provides a support system for their entire healing journey.

On the ground, PCA provides comprehensive direct care to more than 2,000 child victims each year — including highly specialized mental health therapy, forensic interviews, medical services, and caregiver support. At the same time, our innovative and multi-faceted Prevention program aims to stop abuse before it begins.

Since its doors opened in 1989, PCA has supported over 42,000 victims of child sex abuse. That many children could fill every single seat in Citizens Bank Park.

The Bear Affair helps us continue this work every single day.
