Who You Will Meet at PCA

Family Advocates and
Victim Services

The Philadelphia Children’s Alliance assigns a caring, experienced family advocate to each child to walk them and their non-offending caregiver through the process.

While the child is talking with one of our forensic interviewers, the non-offending caregiver meets with the child’s family advocate who assesses the family’s needs, provides crisis counseling and education about the investigative process, and offers medical and mental health referrals and resources. If the case goes to court, the family advocate provides a one-stop point of contact for the family during the court process.

For victims and their families, a PCA family advocate is always just a phone call away.
