VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT PCA

The Philadelphia Children’s Alliance (PCA) offers many ways to share your time and talent.

Volunteers help us provide the highest quality care and service for the children and families at PCA. Please email Jake to be added to an email list for upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Host a Donation Drive

Children and their families are welcomed to PCA by professionals in our Waiting Room, where each child who comes to us for the first time is provided a stuffed animal and a new book for comfort. We rely on generous donations from the community to give the children we serve the items they deserve. Email Kae for more information and for our wishlist.

Put Together Court Support Bags

On the occasion that a child must confront the offender through a criminal proceeding, which can include testifying in court, PCA’s Court Support Program ensures that children and their caregivers are well prepared for court. Through this program we provide children with court support bags. Reach out to request more information here.

Sponsor a Fundraising Event

Engage your colleagues, family, or friends and organize a fundraising activity! Below are a couple of examples of what groups have done but the possibilities are endless:

·       Have a denim day at work with the proceeds going to support the children at PCA

·       Dedicate a tip jar to the children served PCA

·       Host a birthday party and have loved ones donate in lieu of gifts

Community Engagement

Join a PCA representative at a PREVENT community event and help spread awareness around child sexual abuse, and the important work PCA does in our community (training provided).

Invite PCA to speak at group meetings or bring your group to our facility for a tour! These experiences provide an in-depth look at the services that PCA provides. Contact Jacob Smith to schedule.
